Churches to hold Easter ceremonies in tents

Churches on the Cape Flats will conduct Easter ceremonies in tents erected by the city, reported the SABC on Friday.

This, after the Cape Town city authorities in March demolished church structures in Mitchell's Plain and Khayelitsha after it was discovered that they were illegally built on municipal land.

The tents were erected by the city at a cost of R300,000.
