A fire at an informal settlement on the Cape Flats has left about forty people homeless, SABC reported on Tuesday.
Cape Town Fire said six wood and iron structures were gutted in the blaze last night in Brown's Farm, in Phillippi.
The fire was quickly extinguished and there were no fatalities or injuries, the broadcaster said.
