Dyantyi says he is not under pressure to resign |
He was speaking at the handing over of more than 200 houses to homeless people at Wallacedene near Cape Town this morning. Dyantyi's name is among a number of ministers who are expected to resign following the removal of former Premier, Ebrahim Rasool, last week.
Yesterday, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning Minister, Tasneem Essop, resigned from her post. However, Dyantyi says he will continue to do his job as mandated by the ANC.

Another thick skin not unlike that of Robert Mugabe.
I for one can't wait to see the exit of either of these people - who for the last few years have only exacerbated the habitat crisis here and in each other’s countries with each others citizens over nothing but housing issues.
Richard Dyantyi; Robert Mugabe; you will both remembered in history for the parts you played in the New millenniums’ hatred and ethnic cleansing, corruption, self enrichment, and lack of delivery.
I for one can’t wait to see you leave your position for which your are not qualified to hold, despite the fact that it not only appears to fall under the greatest guise “a home for all”; your current overarching position appears to deal with not only local western cape government; disaster management and housing and eastern cape government; disaster management and housing.
Good God Man – You are not omnipresent – give it up already and make all our lives better.
As one of the M3, Your involvement in the flagship fuckup the N2 Gateway alone is reason enough to resign.
Resign Now – Like the Human Habitat depended on it !!!!
Go – already – bye
FUCK OFF!
