Zuma benefactors offering to pay back Nkandla money

JOHANNESBURG - A group of benefactors wants to help President Jacob Zuma with his Nkandla woes.

Calling themselves the Public Members Unit Team, they're offering to pay back the money that the Public Protector says he owes for the Nkandla upgrades.

The offer was made in a letter that's come before Parliament's Nkandla committee.

It's one of three letters that have been presented to the ad-hoc committee.
