Cape Town - Seven people were left homeless after a fire destroyed two shacks in Wallacedene informal settlement on Wednesday morning, a Cape Town official said.
The fire started around 4.20am in Tloomee Street, Kraaifontein East, said disaster risk management centre spokesman Wilfred Solomons-Johannes.
The two adults and five children escaped without injury.
The cause of the fire was being investigated. - Sapa
