Twenty-two protesters were arrested outside parliament during the State of the Nation address on Friday morning, Western Cape police said.
"They are from the Nyanga area and were protesting regarding housing," said spokesperson Superintendent Andre Traut.
The 13 women and nine men were taken to Cape Town police station and released. They would appear in court on Monday to faces charges of demonstrating illegally. - Sapa
