THIS IS THE “CANDLE OF LIFE”… which I invented in a fit of anguish, when I heard of the deaths of two toddlers, Left Alone in an informal-settlement shack -- with a Lighted Candle!!
Clearly – they must have knocked it over – and in seconds the shack was a mass of roaring flames, in which these innocent little souls were burnt to death …
I have made sure These Toddlers Shall Not Have Died In Vain – as the production-model, “Candle of Life” – depicted here – Is Now A Reality!
As is bound to happen, to Any Candle in a small shack – This Unit too, will inadvertently be “Bumped” by the Occupant – but Each Time its unique method of suspension ensures the Candle will Return Safely To Upright!!
Thus the Occupants’ are given a Second chance -- and a Third chance – and a Fourth chance, etc … to Avoid a Death-Dealing Fire, in their humble homes
And – as it goes into Ever-Increasing Usage in informal shack-settlements – steadily, the incidence of candle-Related (*One-In-Every-Three!*) shack-fires
will Decrease proportionately.
And in Increasing Proportion – will the Lives of Little Ones, and Others, be Saved!!

As It Can Easily Be Made – Under Supervision – By “Unskilled” People!
