Cape Town - Two people died and several others were left homeless, because of fires in Cape Town a city official said on Monday.
A man was burned beyond recognition on Mnandi road around 1am said disaster risk management centre spokesman Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said.
A second man died at the Europe informal settlement in Gugulethu around 11pm on Sunday.
Fires in Gugelethu, Langa and Du Noon in the past 2 days had left at least 24 people homeless.
The cause if the fire is being investigated.
